Admiral’s Trial an Update

Admiral’s Trial an Update

The first half of book 4 Admiral’s Trial has been sent out to the beta readers and my brother assures me we’re building the widget for e-Arc applications.  As well as creating a place or way for submitting any errors you guys find along the way in any of the books.

BTW – Tribulation is rocking on right now.  Thank you so much guys.

Current Amazon Ranking as of today is:

So far I’ve had more 90 sales days than not with an 80 average so far for the week!  Making this week my best week ever!

It is because of readers like you that I am able to do what I love, which is to write.   You guys rule!!!  And thank you so much once again.

For more tantilizing hints about the next book I will say that while Admiral’s Tribulation took a turn for the hard military sci-fi, Admiral’s Trial has more of an Adventure bent to it.  I really think you guys are going to like it.

Hopefully when you enter the e-arc lottery and get your get your hands on an advanced readers copy you’ll let me know exactly what you think!

P.S. –

In addition: so far I’ve really only posted information about previous and upcoming books as well as some modest info about the writing of these books.   So if anyone is interested in more tips on how to become a writer or what it takes to write 9k a day words, let me know.  I’ve got a few posts hanging around.

I really don’t know how many of you guys are just avid voracious readers, and how many are aspiring authors yourselves.  I’m not claiming to be an authority on the subject but I’ve been there, done that and have a few thoughts on the subject.

That said if you are mainly interested in books, sneak peak chapters and the potential of this e-arc lottery, that’s really awesome too!  I don’t want to put up a bunch of stuff no one has any interest in!

Be well and remember to always follow the dream!!!!!!!

Congratulations on the success of Tribulations, well deserved IMHO and I hope this is just a teeny tiny step on the way to bigger and beating accomplishments as an Author in the future.

I’m looking forward to Admiral’s Trial of course and I’d be interested in anything you’d care to share about your writing/editing process.

Put me on the avid reader team.

The fact that there is a book being edited atm drives me a little crazy, to the point of checking here a couple of times per day, hoping it is made available a few weeks before we were told to expect.

Okay so I’ll just plan on putting up a few on the writing process as and when I get some time.

For right now I’ll try to just keep the focus on the books and editing updates.

As for editing updates… hmmm. As of right now the brother says its about a week give or take a day or two, before he’ll be ready for me again. This might involve reworking some of the wordier sections into comprehensibility or adding a few bridging chapters on weaker or areas with more abrupt transitions. He’s about 260/400 into book 4.

After the brother is done with this pass, I hope to have some beta reader comments but if not, its at that point we might have the e-arc available. Always depending on how much work he’s got done on the widget for this site.

Be Advised the Electronic Advanced Readers Copy will have errors, mainly gramatical. A few sentances that don’t make sense when you read it, etc. Although most of those should have been smoothed over by now.

Getting an E-Arc is a benefit to you, cause you get to read it early, and a benefit to me in that I get feed back on what works, what doesn’t and any of the egregious grammar stuff that slipped through the cracks.

However after he’s done with his pass, and I’ve gone through it to puff the spots he’s identified as needing my lens on it. It still probably needs to go through another edit with Superpsycho for final revision. Although my brother tells me he’s been getting better at it on his end and hopefully it won’t take as long.

Just remember an E-arc is in your hands early because its an earlier revision than what’ll eventually show up on Amazon. If that bugs you then by all means… wait!

    ;))

I think you should have kept “admiral in spite of himself” (not important), but otherwise the story continues to outstrip all other material I am reading.
Not Sure I like what you are doing with the upload upload idea, and I liked the gorgon alliance as a dark and scary alien empire as well (though I guess if their objective is human extermination…), but hey, your the author, and we still have the “sky demons” as an honest to god antagonist.
Too many shades of grey just makes a story into so much mush, I think and I like the forces of right against the forces of wrong. I hope the engineer can find a way to move the space station and the dry docks back to akanthas home blanet, blasting her minor undeveloped worldlet into a galactic stronghold but I am sure I will enjoy whatever you have planned just as much if not more.
