Got it… now to go read it! Can’t wait… But, first impression on the cover (Cos, you know… that’s what I do…) I like it, would have personally gone with that font as it’s more Sci-Fi than fantasy, but I do like how it was done! and an epic but of art to go with it! 9/10 for the cover! Now for the content! XD

I hought hard about going with a different font for these, and maybe we will in the future, but the continuity of design ultimately tipped the scales for me. Subtle variations on a theme can be cool if correctly done, and I hope we can do that as the series continues.

The only real reason I see a small problem (Do not get me wrong, it looks awesome, even the font, who ever drew them [cos they actually look hand drawn] did a tremendously great job with them) with using that font is that some might, and I do mean might, think that the two series’s are connected, hell, if you look at them all in a row they look like they are even with missing the “Spineward Sectors” bit…
As I said, they do look good and I do agree, subtle variations on a theme can defiently look cool, every bit of design I have done recently for my group and my gaming clan are all variations on the Windows8 Theme because I love it…
It’s just they don’t really look fantasy, they make the covers look colony sci-fi… Which is a great genre of books when done right, but that’s besides the point…
Also, just from the titles of the books (Was finishing off a little homework before I got stuck into them) I would have switched the art around… but, that’s me…
Going to go crawl into bed (Good thing its winter down here) and start reading! Hell, I can’t even wait to do that and all I need to do is get up and go read… I am so excited!

Well, I have breezed through this novella and I will start on book one later tonight before bed… which considering I have TAFE tomorrow I don’t know if that would be a good idea or not… I feaking loved it, another great story mate, I have even already posted my review on the good old Amazon so that should show up when it’s accepted… and sorry about the starting line of this post, I had come up with that while I took a break half way through and thought it would be funny… But only time will tell!

Hahahah Glad you liked The Knife. Hopefully you’ll enjoy The Blooding as well. Let us know how that one goes for you. Both in your (beloved) cover wise and the story itself! I’ve yet to get much feedback on the Novel itself, only one of the Beta’s finished it so far.
